Ixworth Angling Club Update Announcement to all members In case you are not already aware of the Government change of heart after start of current lockdown, fishing is now allowed along the stretches of the river available to be fished by members. However when fishing members must adhere to the strict rules laid down covering social distancing etc and importantly note that fishing is restricted to one session per day only . Full details of the measures that must be taken by all anglers are detailed on the Angling Trust website and also given on the Environment Agency website. Now that the river level has dropped significantly and not flowing extremely quickly it is expected that fishing results should be good for those of you prepared to venture out despite the chiller conditions. Arguably a great time now and to the end of the season to catch a hefty size Chub, Perch or Roach.   Tight Lines!

No fishing on any stretches of the river Blackbourn normally available to be fished by Ixworth Angling Club Members
